Offer Details
- You must book a rental car or hotel through the Ultimate Rewards Travel website by March 31 (Eastern Time);
- The actual hotel stay or rental period can be at any time;
- You must pay with Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, or Ink Cash; the portion paid with UR points will not earn 10x points;
- The spending cap for earning 10x points is $2,500 per card, for a maximum of 25,000 UR points.
Things to Keep in Mind
Because the rental car coverage provided by Chase Freedom and Chase Freedom Unlimited is not primary insurance, and Ink Cash only provides coverage when the rental is for business purposes, we do not recommend using this Ultimate Rewards offer for car rentals. Using Sapphire Reserve or Sapphire Preferred would be a better choice. If you book a hotel outside the U.S. through Ultimate Rewards, even using Freedom, there will not be any foreign transaction fee, because the charge is processed by Ultimate Rewards rather than by the hotel. However, be careful not to use Freedom for any incidental charges at the hotel.
