About the Capital One DFW Lounge
A reader visited Capital One’s own lounge and had a pretty good experience.

- Hours: Daily 6AM-9PM
Right next to the lounge is AA’s FLAGSHIP Lounge.
This is Capital One’s first lounge. More lounges in DEN and IAD are expected to open later.

Access Requirements
If you want to enter this lounge, the easiest way is to have the Venture X credit card or be an authorized user. The rules are as follows:
- Capital One Venture X cardholders get unlimited access and may bring up to two additional guests per visit; beyond that, it costs $45 per person.
- Capital One authorized users enjoy the same benefits as the primary cardholder.
- If you have the Capital One Venture or Capital One Spark Miles for Business, you get two passes per year; additional visits cost $45 per person per visit.
- If you do not have one of the above Capital One credit cards, walk-in access costs $65 per person per visit.
Have to say, the Capital One Venture X really offers excellent value.

As you can see from the photos, the overall quality is very high—much better than the mass-catered food you find in some airline lounges. There are also complimentary alcoholic drinks and handcrafted coffee.
