The welcome bonus on this card has quietly increased to $200 cash back + 5,000 points, which is pretty solid for a no-annual-fee card. Better yet, the $200 is awarded after just one purchase, and the 5,000 points only require $500 in spending—super easy!

My Take
This card is really only useful for dedicated Priceline fans. The complimentary Gold status is a nice perk, and the bonus rewards are mainly valuable for Priceline purchases. Having no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee is also a plus. Point redemption is a bit inconvenient, though: you need at least 2,500 points to start redeeming for Priceline purchases, while other purchases require at least 5,000 points.
How to Apply
Barclays Application Guide
- Check Barclays credit card application status
- Barclays credit card applications generally pull TransUnion (TU), and HPs on the same day can be combined
- If you already have another Barclays card and your new application is not approved, there will usually be no hard pull
- You can call the reconsideration line (866-408-4064) to speed up credit card approval or request another review of a denied application. They may verify your identity and address, ask why you want the card, and review your employment and repayment situation, so be prepared. You may need to move credit limit from an existing card to get approved.
