There’s currently a pretty good AMEX offer for Marriott stays, with solid discounts available. The best version is spend $375 and get $100 back, though the one I received is spend $250 and get $50 back. If you have an upcoming stay, it may be worth booking now. Also, based on past experience, buying gift cards at the Marriott front desk should also trigger the offer.

The offer can vary by card. Current versions include:

  • Get a one-time $100 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $375 USD in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from 5/31/2024 to 8/13/2024.
  • 40% back, up to $100.
  • $140 back with $350 purchase.
  • $50 off $250.
  • 20% back, up to $50.
