Reader C7 introduced us to a Yumi + Rakuten money-making opportunity, so we’re sharing it here. Yumi is a site that offers baby food and delivers according to your subscription preferences. Right now, Rakuten is offering $17.5 cash back on a Yumi subscription.

After going to Yumi, choose "try yumi" in the upper-right corner,

When selecting an age, if you choose an age that is too old, it will subscribe you to a much larger food plan, and the price will be $140+. If you choose a birth date after March 2021, the plan shown is $35. Just choose one meal per day.

Once you see the price is $35, use code: yumibabe8 to get $35 off. However, according to C7, Yumi will still charge you $3.33. Here I recommend using a service like Privacy to generate a virtual card and card number. After you’re done, just delete the card directly to avoid forgetting to cancel the subscription and getting charged again.

About 1 hour after placing the order, you should be able to see it tracked in Rakuten.

You can cancel Yumi online, or by email.

Following receipt of Your first Product order, You have the right to modify a subscription to a Plan at any time online by properly using the “My Account” function accessed via the helloyumi.com Site, or by emailing Yumi Customer Service at [email protected]. Any amounts charged to or paid by You prior to such modification will not be refunded. A modification will ordinarily have no effect on any active order for which you have already been charged.

You have the right to cancel a subscription to a Plan at any time by contacting Yumi Customer Service by email at [email protected].

Notes

  • This post is only sharing the money-making opportunity. I haven’t researched the quality of the ingredients on Yumi, so you can decide for yourself what to do with the food once it arrives.
  • Be sure to cancel the service after you receive the reward so you don’t get reversed on.
  • It’s recommended to use a virtual card for these kinds of subscription money-making deals; even if you can’t cancel, you can delete the card and move on.
