According to CNN, some Wells Fargo customers reported last week that deposits had disappeared from their bank accounts. Wells Fargo later said this was a back-end technical issue and that the deposits had not actually vanished. The bug has now been fixed.
While this time it was not a personal data breach, seeing incorrect deposit amounts like this is still very unsettling. It really feels like the bank just swallowed your money.
