As a credit card issuer that loves adding support for every major mobile wallet, Discover is now sending out a new promotion by email to Discover cardholders. This time, the target is Walmart Pay. Through the end of 2016, purchases made with a Discover card via Walmart Pay, which can be used to check out at Walmart stores, can earn 10% cash back. However, the overall cap is quite low: only the first $100 in spending qualifies, which means a maximum of $10 cash back ($20 after the first-year Cashback Match if you are a new cardholder). So the upside is limited. Still, if you shop at Walmart for groceries regularly, it may be worth using.
