Virgin Voyages is a popular newer cruise line that offers adults-only sailings in many different markets. It has now launched a unique status match opportunity that can match status from various cruise lines as well as other Virgin brand programs.

Status matching in cruise loyalty programs is very rare, and in this case, extending eligibility to frequent flyer programs as well—albeit only within the Virgin ecosystem—is quite unusual.
However, you must first book a Virgin Voyages cruise. After you receive your booking number, you can submit your status match request. You can provide either a screenshot of your online account or your current membership card. Virgin will respond with the match terms and the status tier they are willing to grant.
Here are the eligible programs and tiers: link. In addition to several cruise lines, elite status with Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia can also be matched. If you can get elite status with either airline through another match opportunity, it may be worth using that as a stepping stone to match into the cruise program as well.
