Yesterday, Virgin Atlantic (often shortened to VS) sent out an email, announcing that miles will never expire, and that miles have been renamed to Virgin Points.

This change to the mileage program does not affect redemptions. The 60k-point nonstop China–U.S. DL business-class redemption is still available, so there’s no need to worry.
Virgin also reminded everyone about the double points earning promotion currently in effect:
"To celebrate these latest changes, if you book a Virgin Atlantic flight before 1st October 2020, via our website or contact centre we’ll give you double points. Any cabin, any class. "
