Virgin Atlantic has added a household account feature. You can now have up to 9 people in a household account and share miles across members. However, only the head of household can redeem miles for award bookings.
Please note that household members cannot book tickets using their own accounts; only the household head account can make bookings. In addition, once you join a household account, you must wait 12 months before leaving.
