After struggling with this for several weeks, the Virgin America Elevate mileage transfer to Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan is finally open!

Click this link to go to the transfer page. Log in with your Virgin America username and password, and you can access the transfer screen. Then choose Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan in the Turn Into field, click Register below, and enter your Mileage Plan account details. In the list below, select how many points you want to transfer and confirm. After the transfer is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

I tried transferring a small amount of Virgin America miles to Alaska Airlines, and it took about 10 minutes, so while it wasn’t instant, it was still fairly quick.
