I tested the AMEX Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant $300 hotel credit, and it does indeed work for activating an EGC purchase. If you still haven’t used up your credit, don’t miss it.
Also, it’s said that even if the order gets canceled... the credit will not be clawed back, which makes it even better.
