Xinhua Breaking News report: A Taliban spokesperson in Afghanistan claimed via social media that on the afternoon of the 27th, local time, the Taliban shot down a passenger aircraft belonging to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), with CIA senior officials on board.
