The savings are not huge, but since it can be used in many situations, it is still a decent deal if it happens to fit your spending.

How to Register
Before making a purchase, you must register at this link. Each mobile phone number can register up to 3 UnionPay cards.
Offer
For non-transportation merchants, each card can receive the offer up to 10 times during the promotion period, limited to 1 discount per day at non-transportation merchants. The discount is 10% off the purchase amount, with a maximum discount of $10 per transaction.
For public transportation merchants, such as the New York subway, each card can receive 15 half-off discounts, up to 2 times per day, with a maximum discount of $2.
This promotion requires advance registration through the official channels designated by UnionPay International. Be sure to enter your valid UnionPay card number and mobile phone number accurately. Please note that transactions made through third-party payment accounts, such as PayPal, Alipay, and WeChat, are not eligible for this promotion.
Things to Note
Keep in mind that although UnionPay uses the Discover network in the United States, UnionPay QuickPass via mobile wallet such as Apple Pay does not seem to be supported on all devices. It is best to be prepared in case it does not work at checkout.
