Uber and AMEX have launched a promo code that gives you up to $65 off an Uber ride from airports in 7 cities when you pay with an eligible AMEX card. You must add the promo code first, and since the number of available redemptions is limited, it’s a good idea to add the coupon to your Uber account now.

Offer Details
Promo code: AMEXAIRPORT. Enter it under “Promotion” in the menu of the Uber app. After adding the promo code, through December 31, 2016, you can get up to $65 off an Uber ride from the eligible airports listed below (any Uber ride type qualifies) when you pay the fare with an American Express-issued AMEX credit card or charge card. If the ride costs less than $65, it will be free. The offer can be used up to two times. Participating airports are:
- New York (JFK, LGA, and EWR),
- Chicago (ORD and MDW),
- Washington, DC (IAD and DCA),
- Seattle (SEA),
- Boston (BOS),
- Las Vegas (LAS), and
- Houston (IAH only),
Things to Note
- The card must be issued by American Express itself; AMEX network cards issued by other banks are not eligible.
- Do not use Android Pay or Apple Pay to select your AMEX card; add the card directly to your Uber account instead.
