This promotion was run by McDonald’s for McDelivery Day. During the McDelivery Day promotion, this website can be used to check which cities are participating.
The promo code was valid through 8/4/2017. Even better, this offer could be used at restaurants in participating McDelivery Day Cities, not just at McDonald’s!
【YMMV】Uber Plus Passes available again in July + choose the pass option that fits you
We talked earlier about what “Uber Plus Passes” are, and now the opportunity to buy them has returned in July, but in targeted form. Make sure your Uber app is updated to the latest version. If you see a message saying you were selected, then you were targeted; if not, then this July purchase opportunity for Uber Plus Passes is not available to you. If you were targeted, feel free to share your DP. Sometimes a popup asks whether you want to receive updates about Uber Plus Passes; my suggestion is to opt in, since you never know when you might need to use Uber frequently.
One thing to note: if you buy Uber Plus Passes, the $10 benefit from the AMEX Platinum cannot be used to offset it, unfortunately.
Typically, the deal is pay $10 for 20 ride passes, or pay $20 for 40 ride passes. Ride passes only reduce the cost of each Uber ride rather than making them completely free. This can be a very good deal for people who use Uber often. But this month, the available ride passes show that unlimited ride passes can also be purchased.

A few things to note:
- Cancelled rides do not count

- For split rides, only the person who initiates the ride counts
- Scheduled rides do not count

This promo code is valid through 7/2/2017, with a maximum discount of $10 per ride. If you need it, try to add it sooner rather than later, since Uber promos sometimes stop working before the stated end date.

We recently talked about what “Uber Plus Passes” are, and now the opportunity to buy them in May is back, though in targeted form. Make sure your Uber app is updated to the latest version. If you see a message saying you were selected, then you were targeted; if not, then you likely won’t be able to buy Uber Plus Passes this time around. If you were targeted, feel free to share your DP. Sometimes a pop-up asks whether you want to receive the latest Uber Plus Passes updates. Uber Plus is a program launched by Uber where you pay a fixed fee upfront and then get access to lower-priced UberPOOL/UberX rides for a month. Of course, the number of rides is capped. If you use Uber frequently, this can be a pretty good deal. If you only take Uber occasionally, it’s probably enough just to know about it so you don’t end up overpaying.
February passes are now available for purchase, and the good news is that Uber has expanded this program to more cities in February.
