UA hotel points-to-miles 25% bonus promotion went live on June 1. Some hotel points transferred to UA can earn an extra 25% more. Marriott is a super good deal, and you can even stack it with a points purchase promotion.
Marriott is probably the best deal
- Transferring 60,000 Marriott points to UA miles can get you a total of 20,000 (standard 3:1) + 10,000 (Marriott and UA partnership) + 5,000 (this promotion bonus) = 35,000 UA miles, which effectively works out to a 12:7 ratio. Pretty good.
- You can transfer up to 300,000 Marriott points and receive 175,000 UA miles

- Registration period: June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026 (ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time)
- Eligible miles earned from qualifying activity × 25% = bonus miles
- Maximum bonus per member: 25,000 miles
- Bonus posting time: on or before September 31, 2026
- Marriott Bonvoy points transfer to United miles: the regular "transfer 60,000 points and get 10,000 miles" offer, and the 10,000 bonus miles portion does not count toward this promotion
Marriott also has a points purchase promotion right now, with a cost of 0.89 c/p. Combined with this hotel-to-UA transfer promotion, the cost of UA miles comes out to just 1.53 c/p, which is still cheaper than buying UA miles directly! This promotion will end on June 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Buying 200,000 points costs $2,500 and comes with an extra 80,000 bonus points. That works out to a cost of 0.89 cents per point.
