Citi ThankYou Points has just launched its latest transfer bonus. This bonus is for the program’s newest partner, Leading Hotels, which joined in October 2023. Normally, points transfer at a 5:1 ratio, but with this promotion, you’ll transfer at a 4:1 ratio (1000:250). Transfers from Citi to Leading Hotels of the World are generally instant.
Many people may not be familiar with Leading Hotels of the World or Leaders Club, so let’s take a closer look. Leading Hotels of the World is a collection of more than 400 independent luxury hotels across 80 countries. You may recognize some LHW properties even if you didn’t know they were affiliated with the group.
Compared with award pricing from existing partners, each Leaders Club point can save $0.08 on hotel stays. So, given the 4:1 transfer ratio from Citi ThankYou Points to Leaders Club, plus the 25% bonus, that means each ThankYou Point is worth about $0.02.
