[Updated on February 16, 2021] Rakuten is currently offering 3x cashback: subscribing to the AT&T video bundle gets $112.5 back, and subscribing to AT&T TV gets $75 back. If you are not familiar with Rakuten, you can refer to our previous post:
The Rakuten 3x cashback promotion link is below:
If you are only subscribing to AT&T TV, we recommend using TopCashback. Right now TopCashback is still offering double cashback on AT&T TV, with $100 back on any plan. This can be stacked with the Chase offer that gives $50 back on $69.99 spent on AT&T TV. Some Capital One cardholders also have an AT&T TV $100 offer on their cards, but it is not yet clear whether the Capital One offer can be stacked; more data points are needed to confirm. The AT&T video bundle starts at $94.99 per month, and the AT&T TV plan starts at $69.99 per month. Based on my bill, no other fees or taxes were charged. Compared with subscribing to the AT&T video bundle, Rakuten is more worthwhile; if you are only subscribing to the AT&T TV plan, TopCashback's cashback is better. You can choose based on your needs.
Currently, TopCashback's double cashback for AT&T TV, with $100 back on any plan, should be the best offer right now. If you still don't have a TopCashback account, you're welcome to sign up using my referral link:
On TopCashback's homepage, search for AT&T Internet to find the corresponding offer.
This offer currently has no restrictions and no contract; the cheapest plan on the official website is $69.99 per month. Here's a screenshot of the plan I purchased through the TCB link:
You can see that the plan can be changed at any time. The cashback was tracked about a little over an hour after placing the order, which is pretty fast.
Many users' Chase cards happen to have an AT&T TV offer that gives $50 back when you spend $69.99, and it can be stacked to make a profit.
Therefore, the most worthwhile scenario is to subscribe to the AT&T TV base plan for $69.99 plus tax per month, get $100 back from TopCashback and $50 back from Chase. Since there is no activation fee for online orders, and after excluding tax and other incidental fees, you can make at least $60 profit. If your Chase card happens to have this offer, this is a great deal: one month of AT&T TV for free and $60+ profit. The double cashback will expire at 12 a.m. Eastern Time tonight, so don't miss it if you're interested.
