We received an email that starting July 27, 2025, the transfer ratio from ThankYou Points to Emirates will drop to 1:0.8. It is currently 1:1. We still do not know the reason for this change; perhaps Citi is not paying enough.
Emirates' other partners are still all at 1:1. After Citi devalues, AMEX and Capital One points can be used instead, so the impact is not too significant.
