Expired: Double! BofA Cash Rewards Sending Targeted Offer for Double Cash Back on Spending (3% Becomes 6%)

Several readers received a targeted email offer from BofA: spending in office supplies, electronics, discount stores, and online shopping can earn double cash back. The extra cash back is capped at $100, and the offer ends on September 1. This card already lets you choose online shopping as your 3% cash back category, and based on the promo terms, that rate can be doubled to 6% cash back. If you received this offer, don’t forget to activate it—it's only valid after activation.

If you’ve already maxed out this quarter’s $2,500 cap for the 3% category, then this offer doesn’t mean much.

Terms are as follows:

• Activate & earn double rewards (up to $100) on Office Supply, Electronics and Discount store retailer purchases through September 1, 2020.
• To be eligible, you first must activate this offer.
• Once activated, you will earn double the value of your Cash Rewards, up to $100 in additional Cash Rewards, when you use your account to make purchase transactions (exclusive of any fees, returns and adjustments) from the date you activate the offer through September 1, 2020.
