Project Hope
Swagbucks currently has a deal where if you donate $20 or more to ProjectHope, you earn 2500SB. Limit 1 per account. The terms are very simple: just make a one-time donation of $20 or more, enter through the Swagbucks link (you can find it under Featured Ways to Earn), and use the same email address and name as on your Swagbucks account. After the donation is completed, the 2500SB shows up in your account as pending right away. This offer is very easy and also meaningful: not only can you come out ahead, but you can also support a charity and claim a tax deduction when you file taxes the following year.
The specific terms are as follows:
*Please use the same name and email address as your Swagbucks account information when you complete this transaction. Your SB will be credited within 30 days of completing the transaction. Only valid donations of $20 or more will be credited. SB may be revoked for cancelled donations. Limit 1 per user.
Other donation-for-SB offers
There are currently two other similar offers, one for Save the Children and one for Mercy Ships.
The first offer is a monthly donation of $18 for 4000SB.
The specific terms are as follows:
SB will appear as Pending for 32 days upon offer completion. Only valid monthly donations will be credited. SB may be revoked for cancelled or invalid donations. Must be your first time participating in a Save the Children offer to earn SB. Must make a minimum monthly donation of $18.
Based on the terms, you could cancel after the first month, or to be safer, cancel after donating for 2 months, and still come out ahead; it should also be tax-deductible. However, I checked this NGO's official explanation about canceling donations and learned more about the nature of this donation. It appears that after your first month's donation, you are matched with a specific child. It is unclear whether, after you cancel, the child simply waits for you to resume donating or returns to the waiting pool for someone else to sponsor, but either way it would certainly affect that child. I personally did not do this offer; I'm just sharing it here so everyone can decide for themselves.
The second offer is donate $20 and get 2000SB.
The specific terms are as follows:
*SB will appear as Pending for 30 days. Only valid donations will be credited. Must donate $20 to earn SB. Donations under $20 are not eligible for SB. Must use valid contact and payment information to earn SB. Please use the same name and email address as your Swagbucks account information when you complete this transaction. SB may be revoked for cancelled or invalid donations. This offer is presented to you by Swagbucks on behalf of a third-party merchant or sponsor ("Merchant") . Swagbucks does not endorse (and therefore is not responsible to you for) the Merchant's views, policies, products or services. Have questions? Please contact the Swagbucks Help Center here. If you are not credited within 30 days of offer completion, you have 14 days to contact the Swagbucks Help Center for further investigation. Help Center tickets submitted after the 14 day grace period are not eligible for further investigation and SB.
After donating, it also shows as pending right away.
