About Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a fairly comprehensive cashback platform. On Swagbucks, you can earn money in many ways, including completing surveys, watching videos, clicking promotional webpages, searching the web, shopping, playing games, and downloading apps. If you're not familiar with Swagbucks, see our previous introduction:
If you don't have a Swagbucks account yet, feel free to sign up through our referral link:
- Swagbucks referral signup link (signup bonus: 300SB + 1000SB after spending $25)
By completing tasks on Swagbucks, you earn Swagbucks points called SB. SB can be redeemed on Swagbucks for PayPal cash, Amazon, Walmart, Visa, and gift cards from many other merchants. If redeeming for PayPal cash, 100SB = $1.00. The best-value redemptions are usually Amazon and Walmart gift cards at the beginning of each month, which come with a 12% discount, so 2200SB = $25.00. Redeeming for virtual Visa gift cards also comes with a 13% discount. Visa gift cards work like regular credit cards and can generally be used anywhere Visa is accepted, usually for online shopping.
Subscribe to Walmart+ for One Month via Swagbucks and Stack With a Chase Offer for a $7 Profit
Walmart launched the Walmart+ membership program on September 15. The service costs $98/year or $12.95/month, and the membership benefits include:
- Same-day delivery for online orders, with delivery possible in as little as 1 hour (free delivery requires a minimum of $35)
- Fuel discounts at Walmart and its partner gas stations (Murphy USA and Murphy Express), up to $0.05/gallon
- Use scan & go checkout inside Walmart stores
Recently, some Chase and BofA credit cards have had Walmart+ offers. The Chase offer is $10 back on a Walmart+ membership.
The BofA offer is $5 back on a Walmart+ membership.
There is currently a 15-day free trial. If you purchase a Walmart+ membership through Swagbucks, you can earn 5000SB (worth $50, with an annual subscription) or 1000SB (worth $10, with a monthly subscription). The Swagbucks purchase link is below:
The best use of this deal is to subscribe to Walmart+ for one month. You pay $12.95, get $10 back from Chase, and earn 1000SB from Swagbucks (worth $10), for a $7 profit. Be sure to cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid getting charged again. After your credit card is charged, you should receive an email showing the 1000SB as pending.
If you only have the BofA offer, the process is the same, but your final profit is only $2.
Swagbucks + Sam's Club = 12% Swagbucks Cashback + Credit Card Rewards
Currently, through the Swagbucks link, you can earn up to 20% cashback on Sam's Club purchases.
According to the terms, household consumables, cat food, dog food, and similar items earn 20% back, while all other items earn 10% back. Gift cards are also eligible for cashback. In practice, based on the author's experience, gift cards — including Sam's Club gift cards, virtual Visa gift cards, and other third-party gift cards — all earned 12% back. Below is my cashback record for buying a $300 Sam's Club gift card:
Since this quarter Freedom earns 5% back on PayPal purchases, you can use PayPal Key at checkout to maximize the Freedom rewards. That means buying a $300 gift card can earn 3600SB + 1500UR points, which is like buying the gift card at an effective 83% of face value. For more on PayPal Key, see our earlier post: Introduction to PayPal Key Virtual Credit Card and How to Use It [2020.10 Update 3: Can Trigger All of Chase's Extra Rewards at the Same Time]
With Black Friday promotions happening now, Sam's Club gift cards can be used at both Sam's Club and Walmart, so stocking up in moderation can make sense. One thing to note is that some Sam's Club gift cards may fail to activate. In that case, you'll need to contact customer service or visit a Sam's Club store and ask staff to help activate them.
Subscribe to Cox TV Starter via Swagbucks and Stack With a Chase Offer for a $36 Profit
Some users currently have a Cox offer on their Chase credit cards, as shown below:
This offer gives $45 back on any Cox purchase. Also note that subscribing to Cox through Swagbucks earns additional cashback, up to 2000SB.
Most plans require a 12-month contract, so the recommended option here is the Cox TV Starter plan. This is essentially a trial-style package that offers about 75 TV channels, including NBC, CW, Fox, ABC, CBS, PBS, and some local channels. You can open the account online. An SSN is required, but there is no hard pull. The trial package costs $25, and you also need to pay $3.99 for a mini receiver to watch the channels, for a total cost of $28.99. The trial package can be canceled at any time, so if you use it for only 1 month, your cost is $28.99, while Chase gives $45 back and Swagbucks gives 2000SB. That means you can watch TV free for 1 month and still come out $36 ahead. After subscribing, you should receive an SB pending email. Again, be sure to cancel in time to avoid getting charged again.
Download Solitaire Cube on Swagbucks and Play One Paid Game for a $40 Profit
We mentioned this offer a few days ago in Swagbucks Money-Maker Offer — Subscribe to Fabkids for a $5 Profit, Download Solitaire Cube for an $18 Profit. The terms have now been updated again: you only need to download it and play one paid game to earn 4000SB. Screenshot of the offer below:
For strategy tips, refer to the earlier post. Try to use an Android phone if possible, since iOS is harder to track. After playing one paid game, just wait for the 4000SB to post. Once the SB arrives, you can cash out the unused balance. Since withdrawals under $10 have a $1.50 fee, you can avoid the fee by depositing a bit more so your balance is above $10. In the end, your out-of-pocket cost is $0.60 for a $40 profit. The cashback should post roughly within two hours after funding the account and playing one paid game.
If the game unfortunately does not track, make sure to keep screenshots so you're ready to submit a ticket to customer service.
Also, this highly profitable Vuse Vapor e-cigarette deal on Swagbucks has been reappearing recently. You can find it in the inbox. This time the terms are slightly different again: purchases are now limited to once every 30 days, and the minimum spend is $25 including tax and shipping. If you're not familiar with it, see our previous post:
This is a repeatable deal. Right now, spending $25 earns 10000SB, for a $75 profit. In most cases, you'll receive an email immediately after placing the order showing 10000SB pending for 45 days. I've done this offer on Swagbucks multiple times, and the cashback has posted each time. Don't miss this great opportunity for a big money-maker deal.
