Southwest Airlines is running a promotion where you can earn a promotional Companion Pass by purchasing either 1 round-trip ticket or 2 one-way tickets. That means from January 8, 2024 through March 8, 2024, you can bring one companion with you for free when you travel (taxes and fees not included, starting at $5.60 each way).

How to Earn the Companion Pass
- Register now, then purchase 1 round-trip ticket or 2 one-way tickets by August 30 (Rapid Rewards points cannot be used)
- Complete travel by September 30
- Your companion can fly with you for free from January 8, 2024 through March 8, 2024
Things to Note
- Flights booked before registration do not qualify. Eligible flights must be booked after you register between August 28, 2023 and 11:59 PM Central Daylight Time on August 30, 2023.
- During the promotional Companion Pass validity period, you may change your designated companion up to three times.
