A recent SoFi survey suggests that SoFi is considering launching a credit card with the following benefits:
- 2% cash back on all purchases when redeemed into a SoFi account, and no FTF
- Would be a World Elite Mastercard
- Two selectable 5% cash back categories, with a cap of $4,000 per category (up to $200 cash back per category)
- Cell phone protection up to $1,000
- $99 annual fee
This is just a rumor for now. If it does launch, and if the 5% categories are easy enough to use (for $400 in annual cash back across the two categories), then this could definitely be a solid card.
