Robinhood Platinum credit card is now officially live and invitations are going out to the first batch of users. Compared with the original version announced in March 2026, Robinhood has adjusted several benefits: the DoorDash credit is smaller but no longer has a minimum spend requirement, hotel and airfare credits are clearer, and WHOOP has replaced the original Oura benefit. See the credit section below for details.
This card has a $695 annual fee and currently does not offer a signup bonus. While Robinhood says the card can provide more than $3,000 in annual value, that figure includes a number of monthly credits, select health memberships, and limited-time perks. The actual value really depends on your own spending habits.

Various Credits
This card offers a variety of spending credits that can significantly offset the annual fee. Many of these credits are issued monthly or semiannually, so be sure to use them on time.
- $120 annual DoorDash credit: You get $10 per month, with no minimum spend requirement
- $250 annual dining credit: You get $20 per month, with $30 available in January. Valid at 15,000 participating restaurants.
- $500 annual hotel credit: You get $250 every six months. This requires booking eligible luxury hotels through the Robinhood travel portal. However, up to $100 of this can be used for regular hotel bookings.
- $300 annual airfare credit: You get $150 every six months, and you must book directly through the airline's website or app, or through the Robinhood portal.
- $250 annual Waymo credit: You get $20 per month, with $30 available in December. Valid on eligible autonomous rides.
- $239 WHOOP credit: After activating the WHOOP membership and device benefit, you can buy WHOOP Peak membership or other qualifying products at whoop.com and receive up to $239 in statement credits each year. This benefit is currently valid through December 31, 2027. WHOOP membership is an auto-renewing subscription, so remember to check your renewal settings after using it.
Included Memberships and Benefits
In addition to the spending credits, this card also comes with several high-value memberships. The annual fee includes the following benefits:
- Robinhood Gold membership: valued at $5/month
- Oura membership: valued at $70/year
- Function Health membership: valued at $365/year
- Amazon Health membership: valued at $199/year
- Priority Pass Select lounge membership: unlimited visits for the primary cardholder (check the terms for guest access policy)
- Global Entry or TSA Pre application fee credit: up to $120 every 4 years
My Take
Robinhood Platinum's benefits after launch are more reasonable than when it was first announced, but it is still a typical reimbursement-heavy premium card.
The easiest benefit to use is the $300 annual airfare credit. If you buy airfare every year anyway, it is basically worth close to face value. The $10 monthly DoorDash credit is not a huge amount, but removing the minimum spend requirement makes it more practical than before. The hotel benefit has more restrictions: you must book eligible upscale hotels through Robinhood Travel and stay at least two consecutive nights. Robinhood markets the hotel benefit at up to $700 per year, but whether the pricing actually matches the hotel's own site—and whether it affects hotel elite points and benefits—needs to be checked carefully before booking.
The 5% cash back on dining is the card's most obvious highlight, with 5% back on up to $50,000 in annual dining spend. For people with very high dining spend who prefer cash back over airline miles, this could be one of the best dining cash-back cards available right now. However, all other purchases only earn 1% back, which is clearly worse than the Robinhood Gold Card's 3% cash back on all purchases.
So Platinum is better suited as a dining and travel perks card, not as the card for all everyday spending. The value of the health benefits varies by person. If you already plan to buy Function Health, WHOOP, or Amazon One Medical, those memberships alone can offset a large portion of the annual fee. But if you won't use those services at all, you cannot value them at Robinhood's advertised face value. The biggest issue is still the lack of a signup bonus. For a $695 annual-fee card, having no signup bonus significantly reduces the appeal in the first year. Overall, this card is a better fit for people who:
- Have high annual dining spend
- Can fully use the $300 airfare credit
- Are willing to book eligible upscale hotels through Robinhood Travel
- Already need Function Health, WHOOP, or Amazon One Medical
- Can consistently use the monthly DoorDash, select restaurant, and Waymo credits
If you mainly want airport lounges or general travel perks, there are still plenty of more mature premium cards on the market with more flexible benefits.
Also, according to their presentation, Robinhood Platinum cannot be held at the same time as the Robinhood Gold Card. You would need to upgrade Gold to Platinum. That is very disappointing, because Gold offers 3% cash back on all purchases, while Platinum only earns 1% on regular spending. That is basically a downgrade!
How to Apply
- After the presentation, they said the first 15,000 users would receive invitations to apply for this card.
- You may also be able to get this card by upgrading from Robinhood Gold.
