Today I received an email saying that the metal card for my The Ritz-Carlton credit card will be reissued again. I have to say, even though this card has been discontinued for a long time, it still got its Free Night upgraded alongside the Marriott Brilliant, and the annual fee did not increase. That’s actually pretty generous. Now even the metal card is being reissued, which is a really nice touch.
Also, just as a side note, if you still want to get this card, you can still obtain it by product changing from a Chase Marriott card, but you need to have a credit limit of at least $10,000. See details here:
