Before people figured out the trick of using Amazon Kindle Unlimited to trigger streaming credits, we had introduced a few ways to sign up for these subscriptions through shopping portals or cashback apps and earn rewards. Starting this month, those rewards should either have posted or be in Pending status. Don’t forget that you can now cancel the subscriptions to avoid unnecessary charges.

  • Note: Canceling after the charge posts will not affect the service period you already subscribed to (it simply won’t renew at the end), and it also won’t affect your cashback.

After canceling, starting this month you may want to go all in on the “Amazon Kindle gift card refund method.” See:

Shopping Portals

  • Ebates for ESPN+ Bundle, one month
  • MrRebate for Disney+ Bundle, one month
  • Befrugal: Pay $69 for a six-month SiriusXM subscription, and get $70 cashback + Google Nest Hub + AMEX streaming credit (dead). If you already received the reward, it’s best to cancel so you don’t get hit by auto-renewal after 6 months. If the reward hasn’t posted yet, keep waiting.

Cashback app — Drop

  • Apple Music, 3-month free trial, reward: 3,000 points (worth $3) [No spending required for this one, so it’s an easy extra reward]
  • Hulu, subscribe for one month ($6), reward: 6,000 points (worth $6) [Note: this is not the Hulu TV offer]
  • Disney Bundle, subscribe for one month ($12.99), reward: 10,000 points (worth $10) [Note: this is not the annual plan version]
  • Luminary, subscribe for one month ($4.99), reward: 10,000 points (worth $10) [The reward was boosted; normally it’s only a $5 reward]
  • SiriusXM, this requires subscribing for two months ($8 x2), reward: 12,000 point (worth $12, limited-time reward) [Can be activated without a car. This offer is on the Drop Boosted page; if you can’t find it, search directly in Drop]

How to Cancel
