[Update 2] I finally cashed out my Visible cashback. Before it posted, I was worried every day that the tracking would get lost. Not easy at all.

Recently there have been quite a few reports and DPs about missing tracking on RM, or cashback getting removed even after it initially tracked. Quite a few readers in our WeChat groups have also successfully cashed out lately. In short, when you use RebatesMe for an order, make sure to complete the whole purchase in one go to reduce the chance of tracking loss. Once tracking is lost, it becomes very hard to fix later. For cashing out, I recommend PayPal or an MC/Visa card (debit cards work too). Alipay is not very recommended because the exchange rate is a bit poor.

[Update] RebatesMe is really fast. My Visible purchase for an iPhone 12 Pro 512G tracked quickly, with $198 cashback.

Out of boredom, I decided to give Visible a try. I was only testing it and did not expect the purchase to actually go through, because Visible has always been pretty unpredictable for payments and many people cannot get their transactions approved. To my surprise, I used an AMEX credit card directly (not PP), and it went through. My IP was still a Europe IP, and the shipping Zip code was different from the card Zip code I entered, yet it still processed. I even confirmed with customer service several times, and yes, the order was really placed🤣.

Fortunately I clicked through RebatesMe, and it happened to be at a near all-time-high 15% cashback, so no complaints. I used my AMEX Green, which was temporarily earning 4x MR. [I bought the 12 Pro 512G, which came with $150 and Bose headphones.]

I also noticed that RebatesMe offers a notes feature, so you can add a record to each tracking entry. That seems fairly rare among cashback sites. I tried it out, and it feels quite nice. For people who place a lot of orders, it works as a simple secondary note-taking feature.

As a Chinese cashback site, its design and workflow really do fit Chinese users' habits well. I have been using RebatesMe for almost everything recently, especially for popular cross-border shopping merchants, where it often has the highest cashback rates. Tracking is also very fast.
