Rakuten has quietly launched its Takeout food delivery service. Ordering takeout through this platform earns 20% cashback. If your Rakuten account is set to earn MR points, that works out to 20x MR, which is quite a strong return. Unfortunately, there are still only a limited number of participating merchants on the platform right now, and they’re all a few restaurants in the Bay Area. Hopefully after reopening, more merchants will join.
