RadPad has announced (link) that this deal is dead because too many people jumped on it. Going forward, rent payments will incur a fee again, so don’t forget to stop your payments! Rent payments scheduled on or before August 23 and charged by August 31 will still qualify for the 0 fee benefit. RadPad is an online rent payment platform that lets you pay rent with a credit card. Under normal circumstances, paying by credit card incurs an extra 3.49% fee (debit cards have a flat $4.95 fee per transaction). RadPad is now running a promotion for its Android app: if you pay rent through the RadPad app using Android Pay, the fee is completely waived! This promotion lasts through the end of 2016. It’s basically a way to earn credit card points at no cost.

Go to the Google Play Store to download the RadPad app. Then select Android Pay when making your payment. You can use any Discover, AMEX, Visa, or Mastercard to pay rent with no fee at all!
How to Use RadPad
- You can only use RadPad to pay rent once per month, but you can choose the date yourself. “Per month” means a calendar month.
- You can enter a rent amount higher than your actual rent, effectively prepaying rent. However, when setting up a payment, RadPad often asks to review your Leasing Agreement to make sure the payment is באמת for rent, so it’s best not to inflate the amount by too much.
- If you use the Citi AT&T Access More card, you should be able to earn 3x ThankYou Points.
