Recently, Radisson Rewards outside North America underwent a moderate devaluation of its points, with hotel redemptions moving to dynamic award pricing. Elite status tiers were also adjusted, going from four tiers down to three, and the earning rates for points were reduced quite a bit as well. However, Radisson in North America is operated separately, and there have been no changes there for now.
After the change, points redemptions became dynamically priced, meaning the number of points required now depends on the cash price at the time. Based on estimates, the value of the points is now around 0.15-0.28c/p, compared with the previous fixed award chart value of about 0.35c/p, which is a fairly significant devaluation. Member benefits have also been updated to some extent.
