Offer times
The fares are an excellent deal, so you should start booking right when each sales window opens. You don’t need to wait in a queue to enter the site, but the page can be slow—if you keep trying a few times, you should still be able to grab one. Since others may also miss out, there may still be leftover fares available about one hour after launch.

How to find the $25 fares:
- Make sure you are logged in with your Amazon Prime Student account. If not, you can sign up here. You may need an .edu email address.
- Use this link to activate the offer.
- Search for domestic U.S. flights between Dec 8 and Dec 25. If you need a round trip, the return date must be from Dec 8 to Jan 14.
- Select an itinerary with just 1 passenger.
- If you still don’t see $25 fares, itineraries over $500 will be eligible and you only pay $25 plus the amount above $500.
- Only 1,000 fares are available each day, so you have to grab them when the sale starts!
- All fares include free premium customer support (worth $7.95).
Restrictions
Each account can only claim one set of discounted fares. Even if the system briefly lets you add multiple tickets, you may later receive an email from Student Universe asking you to manually remove the extras.
Advanced play
You can also choose a higher-priced fare (around $500), book it, and then cancel it for an airline reimbursement. However, not all airlines support this. United is relatively straightforward: you can cancel online and convert it to Future flight credit. Other airlines either refuse this or require you to call to cancel yourself.
