About This Lawsuit
There is currently a class action price-fixing lawsuit involving pork, titled "In re Pork Antitrust Litigation (Indirect Purchaser Actions)," in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. The parties have reached a settlement, and the court has approved the settlement agreement. The lawsuit alleges that several pork producers and their co-conspirators conspired beginning on January 1, 2009, to raise and stabilize pork prices in violation of federal and state consumer protection and antitrust laws. If you are a resident of one of the states listed below and purchased certain pork products between June 28, 2014 and June 30, 2018, you may be eligible to participate in this class action settlement and receive compensation.
The deadline to submit a claim is April 2, 2024, so time is short. No proof of purchase (receipt) is required to participate in this settlement.

The pork you purchased must have been produced by one of the following companies, which covers most major meat processors:

- Seaboard Foods LLC

Eligible Pork Categories
Pork includes both fresh and frozen pork products:
- Raw pork bacon
- Pork bellies
- Pork loins
- Pork shoulder
- Pork ribs
- Pork chops
What Can You Do?
- Submit a claim: This is the only way to receive a refund. You can file online here. The filing deadline has been extended to April 2, 2024.
- Request exclusion: You may ask to exclude yourself from the class action. Your request must be submitted by April 2, 2024. If you exclude yourself, you will not receive any settlement payment, but you will retain your right to take your own legal action.
- Do nothing: If you do nothing, you will remain a member of this class action. In any future settlement or judgment, you will be notified and given an opportunity to participate.
