【2019.12 Update】 Plastiq has resumed accepting Capital One business credit cards for payments. Personal credit cards, however, still have not been re-enabled by Capital One. H/T: Doc
【Additional Update】 Doc received an email from Plastiq explaining that payments made with Capital One credit cards were unilaterally suspended by the bank. I’m not sure whether this was a mass email, but I did not receive it on either of my two accounts.
As you know, Capital One has asked us to temporarily suspend processing of payments with their cards. We’re working closely with them to remedy the situation and will reach out as soon as we have an update for you. Meanwhile, consider trying some of these great credit cards that many of our customers use to pay their personal and business bills (list of Plastiq affiliate links of other card issuers)
According to reader batman, Plastiq recently appears to have temporarily stopped allowing payments with Capital One credit cards. Reader batman was trying to make a rent payment. There are similar DPs on Flyertalk, and this seems to have been going on for a while. It is still unclear when normal service will resume.
