[Update] Earlier I said Plastiq might eliminate the bonus entirely. Now it seems the signup bonus may indeed be gone. The signup bonus has now been reduced to $50 FFD, or possibly no bonus at all. The Plastiq Blog no longer mentions any FFD bonus for new user signups, and DOC has also confirmed that the bonus is now at most $50 FFD. That means both the referrer and referee bonuses have been cut to 1/10 of their previous amounts.
If you signed up earlier and still have not made a payment within 90 days, you should probably still be eligible for the old $500 FFD bonus. Hopefully this is only temporary.
Ever since Plastiq received new funding, it has stopped offering fee-discount promotions. It is also said that, in order to crack down on self-referrals, Plastiq lowered the referrer bonus from $1,000 FFD to $100 FFD. Everyone should have received the email yesterday, and the referral bonus shown on the homepage has indeed been reduced.
