Overview

If your personal information was affected in the Neiman Marcus Group LLC data incident in May 2024, you may be eligible for settlement benefits. This case is part of the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana titled “In re: Snowflake, Inc., Data Security Breach Litigation Chase No. 2: 24-MD-3126-BMM.” In this litigation, Neiman Marcus Group LLC (the “Defendant”) agreed to a $3.5 million settlement arising from the data security incident it detected in May 2024.

The Defendant discovered unauthorized access to its computer network, which may have exposed Settlement Class Members’ personal information. “Personal Information” refers to information belonging to Settlement Class Members, including but not limited to: names, email addresses, dates of birth, gift card information, partial credit card numbers, and the last four digits of Social Security numbers.

Key Dates

Deadlines for your legal rights and options:

  • Submit a Claim Form: Submitting a valid claim form is the only way to receive Settlement Class Member benefits.

    Deadline: October 8, 2025

  • Exclude Yourself or Opt Out of the Settlement: You will not receive Settlement Class Member benefits. You keep your right to sue the Released Parties.

    Deadline: September 23, 2025

  • Object to the Settlement: You remain in the settlement, but tell the Court that you disagree. If the Court approves the settlement, you will still be bound by it.

    Deadline: September 23, 2025

  • Do Nothing: You will not receive Settlement Class Member benefits and will give up legal rights.
