[June 2020 update] I checked today and VS accounts can now log in and search for award space normally again. I also checked Chase UR and AMEX MR, and transfers are working normally again as well.

Earlier

Earlier, there were reports that Virgin Atlantic (VS) was at risk of going bankrupt, and then VS redemptions stopped working.

As of today, Membership Rewards is temporarily unable to transfer to VS

Ultimate Rewards is also unable to transfer to VS

I also tested Marriott, and it seems transfers may still be working

Also, when trying to log in to a VS account, I was told there was a technical issue

In short, this is not good news... For now, everyone should hold on to your bank points and avoid transferring. If you have no use for premium-cabin awards, cash out while you can.
