According to comments on SD, the Gmail address trick also works for registration. For example, if your regular email is [email protected], you can also register with [email protected], and the messages will still go to your Gmail inbox. There also doesn’t seem to be much restriction on phone numbers, so virtual numbers should probably work too.

You can install the SSD in a desktop or laptop. If you want to turn it into an external portable drive, you can also pick up an enclosure on the spot, and it should work fine.
