On March 25, 2025, MGM Resorts announced exciting new benefits for MGM Rewards members, covering milestone rewards, enhanced Marriott Bonvoy tier matching, Royal Caribbean upgrade perks, and an upcoming credit card.
Highlights of the new benefits:
Benefits by tier
- Marriott Bonvoy status matching:
- MGM Rewards Pearl members receive Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status.
- MGM Rewards Gold members are upgraded to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite.
- MGM Rewards Platinum members retain Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
- MGM Rewards NOIR members receive Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, the highest status.
- Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises perks:
- Platinum and NOIR members receive higher-tier perks on these cruises, such as upgraded cabin types and richer itinerary options.
- Starting this year, Gold members can also use annual cruise benefits.
- Milestone rewards:
- Members can earn brand-new milestone rewards at different tier levels, including up to 25,000 tier credits.
- For example, if you earn 50,000 tier credits in 2025, you can rollover up to 7,500 tier credits into 2026.
- Digital gift card: The newly launched MGM Rewards eGift Card currently has no clear use identified yet.
The new credit card is coming soon
