MEXC recently launched RealStocks, a feature for trading actual U.S. stocks. Through the 美卡 101 partner channel, new users can join a U.S. stock promotion and earn up to 20.5U by completing account-opening and trading tasks. Open a U.S. stock account and make a first trade of at least 100U to earn 10.5U; reach 1,000U in cumulative U.S. stock trading volume to earn an additional 10U. Opening a U.S. stock account is free, and eligible users can apply directly in the MEXC App.

If you hold a Chinese passport, select “Overseas Chinese” when registering, then provide proof of an overseas address to complete KYC. Addresses in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia are accepted; proof of address from mainland China or the United States is not currently supported.

In addition to U.S. stocks, MEXC’s U Card is also worth a look. The latest MEXC Global Card is a Visa virtual spending card funded with USDT. It supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, and eligible purchases can earn 4%-10% USDT cashback. Cardholders can also participate in selected USDT yield products offering up to 7% APR. For users who already hold USDT on a crypto platform, MEXC now brings crypto trading, actual U.S. stock investing, and everyday spending together.

About MEXC

MEXC is a global cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2018. It primarily offers spot and futures trading, copy trading, investment products, and various promotions for new users. Like Bitget and OKX, MEXC is also expanding into traditional finance-related products. Recent notable additions include RealStocks for trading actual U.S. stocks and the MEXC Global Card.

The platform currently offers the following main features:

  • Spot trading: Trade BTC, ETH, SOL, and many other digital assets using common order types such as limit and market orders.
  • Futures trading: Trade perpetual futures on various digital assets, with leverage and risk-management tools.
  • Copy trading: Follow other traders’ strategies and review their past performance. However, copy trading does not guarantee similar future returns.
  • MEXC Earn: Offers flexible, fixed-term, and other yield products for some digital assets. Rates vary with market conditions and promotions.
  • RealStocks for actual U.S. stocks: Trade U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through partner securities firms, with USDT available as a funding source.
  • MEXC U Card: Load USDT onto a Visa virtual card for everyday purchases and earn cashback on eligible spending.

What I find most interesting about MEXC now is how it brings U.S. stocks and the U Card into a crypto trading platform. If you already hold USDT there, you can trade digital assets, use those funds to buy U.S. stocks, or spend directly with the U Card, reducing the hassle of moving funds back and forth.

Registration and Rewards

Registration Notes

MEXC currently restricts residents of certain countries and regions, including the United States, mainland China, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Note that the platform primarily considers your actual country or region of residence and your KYC documents, not just your passport nationality.

For example, users with Chinese passports who legally reside in other regions where the service is available can open an account. An address in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, or Singapore may be used with a Chinese passport. KYC requires an ID (a passport is accepted) and proof of address, such as a bank statement or utility bill. Select “Overseas Chinese” as your registration region.

U.S. Stock Rewards

MEXC has launched a new-user U.S. stock promotion through partner channels. Eligible users can earn up to 20.5U, across two reward tiers:

  • First U.S. stock account and trade reward: 10.5U. Open a RealStocks account and complete your first U.S. stock trade with a value of at least 100U to meet the first-trade requirement.
  • Cumulative trading reward: an additional 10U. Reach 1,000U in cumulative U.S. stock trading volume to qualify for the second reward tier.
  • Up to 20.5U total. Complete both sets of tasks to receive the full rewards. The reward type and distribution method are subject to the promotion page.

Find the promotion in the “Rewards Center” in the MEXC App. Follow these steps:

  1. Register for a MEXC account and complete the required KYC verification.
  2. Open the MEXC App, go to the “Rewards Center,” find the new-user U.S. stock promotion, and check whether your account is eligible.
  3. Go to the RealStocks page and follow the instructions to open a U.S. stock account.
  4. After your account is approved, make your first U.S. stock trade of at least 100U to meet the first-tier reward requirement.
  5. Continue trading until you reach 1,000U in cumulative U.S. stock volume, then claim the additional 10U as directed on the promotion page.

About U.S. Stock Trading

RealStocks: Actual U.S. Stocks and ETFs

MEXC launched RealStocks in 2026, connecting users to the U.S. stock market through partner securities brokers. According to the company, users can buy actual shares of U.S.-listed companies, and eligible holdings may provide shareholder benefits such as dividends. These are not simply tokens that track stock prices or CFD contracts. According to reports, MEXC uses the same underlying provider as Bitget: Longbridge.

In August 2026, MEXC announced that more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs were available to trade. The actual list of available securities may continue to change.

  • Actual stocks: Hold U.S.-listed stocks through partner securities firms. Eligible holdings may provide dividends and other shareholder benefits.
  • ETF support: In addition to individual stocks, trade eligible U.S.-listed ETFs.
  • USDT funding: Stocks are priced in U.S. dollars, and you can transfer USDT to fund stock trading.
  • Zero trading commission: U.S. stock trading commissions are $0, but platform fees and a minimum per-order charge apply, as explained below.
  • Recurring U.S. stock investments: Set up recurring investment plans for eligible stocks instead of placing every order manually.
  • Extended trading hours: In addition to regular U.S. market hours, some overnight trading is available. Check the platform for the supported stocks and hours.

It is important to distinguish RealStocks from MEXC’s U.S. stock tokens and related derivatives. RealStocks represents actual shares held through securities brokers, while stock tokens may simply be digital assets that track stock prices. Even when products share ticker symbols such as NVDA or TSLA, their structures may be completely different.

U.S. Stock Account Eligibility

I think one of the biggest advantages of MEXC RealStocks is how simple it is to open an account, without the process of making a traditional international bank transfer. According to the official information, there is no account-opening fee or upfront account maintenance fee for a RealStocks account. Eligible users can open an account directly in the App without first preparing a US dollar bank account or arranging an international wire transfer.

There are currently two account-opening modes:

  • RWA Mode: Eligible users do not need to submit additional proof of address. The platform says account opening usually takes about 1 minute.
  • Proof of Address Mode: Applicants must provide a bank statement, utility bill, or other acceptable proof of address from within the past 3 months. The platform says reviews are usually completed within 24 hours.

According to MEXC’s official account-opening instructions, some overseas Chinese users cannot currently use RWA Mode and must open an account through Proof of Address Mode. Both modes provide essentially the same trading features once the account is open.

The process is also straightforward:

  1. Complete advanced KYC verification on MEXC.
  2. Open the MEXC App and go to Trade → RealStocks. You can also access it through Wallets.
  3. Select the account-opening mode available to you and submit the required information.
  4. Wait for your securities account to be approved. After approval, you can transfer funds and start trading.

The low barrier to entry here mainly refers to the lack of an account-opening fee, the simple application process, and the convenient way to transfer funds. Minimum order quantities and minimum trade amounts still depend on the rules for each stock. The 100U mentioned earlier is the first-trade task threshold for this new-user promotion; it does not represent the minimum trade amount for all stocks on the platform.

Deposits and withdrawals: Buy US stocks directly with USDT

Traditional international brokerages usually require users to prepare US dollars and fund their accounts by bank transfer or another method. MEXC lets users use USDT directly as the source of funds for US stock trading, cutting out several steps.

MEXC highlights that 1 USDT corresponds to $1 of US stock buying power. In other words, you can transfer USDT directly into funds for securities trading denominated in US dollars. If you already hold USDT on an exchange, you do not need to withdraw it to a bank, exchange currencies, and then send the funds to another brokerage.

MEXC has also recently added an automatic fund transfer feature. If your RealStocks account does not have enough funds, eligible available assets in your spot account can be transferred directly during the order process, so you do not need to manually top up the account in advance each time.

MEXC also supports recurring investments in US stocks. For example, if you want to buy a particular US stock or ETF regularly, you can schedule purchases using the platform’s recurring investment feature instead of watching the market yourself each time.

However, the 1:1 conversion is a funding arrangement offered by the platform; it does not mean USDT is permanently free from depeg risk. Before trading, check the amount actually credited, trading fees, and fund transfer rules.

US stock trading fees

One of MEXC’s key selling points for US stock trading is $0 commission, but it is important to understand what that means. According to the latest standard fee schedule, effective September 1, 2026:

  • Trading commission: $0.
  • Platform fee: $0.004 per share.
  • Minimum fee: $0.99 per order.
  • Maximum fee: Generally capped at 0.5% of the trade value, but the $0.99 minimum fee takes precedence.

For example, if you buy just 1 share, the theoretical fee at $0.004 per share is only $0.004. However, under the minimum-fee rule, the actual platform fee is $0.99. If you buy 500 shares in one order, the standard fee would be $2, though you still need to check whether the final trade value triggers the fee cap.

So $0 commission does not mean trading is completely free. For example, if you split 1,000U of trading volume into many small orders to complete a new-user task, each order may incur the $0.99 minimum fee. If you place 10 orders subject to the minimum fee, that adds up to $9.90—nearly wiping out the 10U reward for the second tier. That is why I do not think it is worth deliberately increasing the number of trades just to complete the task.

MEXC has also run limited-time promotions offering zero fees on US stock trades. If your account currently qualifies for a promotional fee waiver, that is a different matter. Always refer to the fees displayed when placing your order.

US stock dividends and asset protection

RealStocks uses partner securities firms to process US stock trades and custody. According to the latest official information, the partners include VistaMX Markets, Atomic Vaults Securities (AVS), and clearing partners. AVS is a US SEC-registered, FINRA-member broker-dealer and a SIPC member.

However, it uses an Omnibus Account structure. This means that each MEXC user does not directly own a separate US brokerage account. The official information says SIPC protection applies at the level of eligible omnibus securities accounts, with users’ interests reflected in the underlying account records. It should not be interpreted as each user receiving a separate set of SIPC protections.

If you hold eligible dividend-paying stocks, RealStocks can receive the dividends. The platform generally distributes dividends to the stock account in USDT and does not support automatic dividend reinvestment (DRIP).

There is an important tax consideration: In an official statement from October 2026, MEXC said it was still applying for US IRS Qualified Intermediary (QI) status. Until it is approved, US stock dividends are currently subject to the default 30% withholding tax rate. Eligible non-US tax residents may later be able to claim a lower rate under a tax treaty.

So if your main goal is to hold high-dividend stocks or ETFs for the long term and earn income, this is worth considering. Settling in USDT does not exempt you from the tax rules that apply to US stocks. The platform also has not yet officially opened transfers of holdings to other securities brokerages, so it is best to understand these limitations before building a large, long-term position.

MEXC U Card: Up to 10% USDT cashback

Besides US stocks, another MEXC product I think is worth watching is the MEXC Card. It lets you use USDT held on the exchange for everyday spending, without first withdrawing funds to a bank and paying with a traditional bank card.

MEXC currently offers two main proprietary virtual Visa cards:

  • MEXC Global Card: Launched on August 31, 2026, supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, and offers up to 10% USDT cashback. The current standard purchase fee is 1%.
  • MEXC Card (APAC): Primarily available in some Asia-Pacific markets, including Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The standard purchase fee is 0%, but foreign-currency purchases may incur an additional 1% cross-border conversion fee on top of the Visa exchange rate.

The platform also offers the co-branded MEXC × ether.fi card, but that is a separate product with a different application process and funding structure. Here, I’ll focus on the Global Card.

Global Card: Spend USDT directly

The MEXC Global Card is a virtual Visa payment card, not a credit card issued by a US bank, and it does not provide a credit line. Users must first transfer USDT to their MEXC Fiat Account, then load it onto the card. They can then use it at merchants that accept Visa.

It supports Apple Pay and Google Pay and can be added to a mobile wallet for use at supported online merchants and in-person payment terminals. For users who already hold USDT, it offers another way to use digital assets for everyday spending.

Up to 10% cashback on purchases

The most appealing feature of the MEXC Global Card is its purchase cashback. The platform currently offers three tiers—4%, 6%, and 10%—with rewards paid in USDT rather than points that can only be used on the platform.

Membership tier M-Score Purchase cashback Monthly cap
Standard 350–599 4% 100 USDT
Premier 600–799 6% 300 USDT
Elite 800+ 10% 800 USDT

M-Score is MEXC’s membership tier score. Your actual cashback rate is based on your membership tier on the last day of the calendar month, and cashback is typically credited to your spot account by the 15th of the following month. Some merchant categories are excluded, and refunded or reversed transactions do not count.

A cashback rate of 4%–10% looks quite appealing at first, but you also need to account for the spending fee. MEXC Global Card previously offered a limited-time 0% fee promotion, but it ended in late September 2026. The standard spending fee currently listed by MEXC is 1%.

For example, a Standard member with $1,000 in eligible spending in a month would earn 40 USDT in cashback at a 4% rate. If every transaction incurs the standard 1% fee, the total cost would be about $10, leaving roughly $30 in nominal net cashback, or about 3%. This does not include the cost of transferring in USDT or any other potential fees.

If you already qualify for the 6% or 10% cashback tier, your actual return would be higher. However, upgrading your membership tier may require additional trading or assets, so it is not worth taking on unnecessary costs just to increase your cashback.

Fees and usage restrictions

MEXC Global Card’s current fee structure is as follows:

  • Card issuance fee: The virtual card currently has a $0 issuance fee.
  • Annual fee: $0.
  • Top-up fee: MEXC does not charge an additional fee to top up the card.
  • Spending fee: 1% standard fee.
  • Cryptocurrency conversion fee: $0; the final settlement amount is shown on your statement.
  • Foreign-currency transactions: Settled at the Visa exchange rate. Global Card does not add a foreign-exchange markup, but the spending fee mentioned above still applies.
  • Per-transaction spending limit: Up to $80,000.
  • Daily spending limit: Up to $1,000,000.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay: Both are supported.

Keep in mind that these are the product limits published by MEXC. Your account may have lower risk-control limits, and not every Visa merchant is guaranteed to accept the card. It is best to check in advance whether it will work for hotel deposits, rental car deposits, recurring payments, and some financial merchants in particular.

The fee rates differ if you use the MEXC Card (APAC). The APAC card has a 0% fee on regular purchases, but foreign-currency purchases may incur an additional 1% cross-border conversion fee. Which card is more cost-effective depends mainly on your country of residence and the currencies you spend.

Additional 7% APR USDT yield product

In addition to purchase cashback, MEXC offers cardholders a designated USDT yield promotion with rates of up to 7% APR. This benefit is notable because it can be combined with purchase cashback.

However, simply keeping funds in your U Card balance does not automatically earn 7% interest. You need to subscribe separately to the MEXC Card-specific Earn product with USDT.

  • Eligible asset: USDT.
  • Maximum annualized rate: 7% APR, the product rate during the promotion.
  • Minimum subscription: 100 USDT.
  • Maximum subscription: 100,000 USDT.
  • Interest calculation: Accrues hourly and is usually paid the following day.
  • Withdrawals: The product allows flexible subscriptions and redemptions; check the product page for details.

If you deposit 10,000 USDT and assume the 7% APR lasts for a full year, the simple estimate is about 700 USDT in annualized returns. However, MEXC explicitly states that this rate applies only during the promotion and may change afterward, so it should not be treated as a permanently locked-in 7% rate.

Also, a USDT yield product is not a bank savings account, is not FDIC-insured, and is not directly equivalent to a high-yield savings account (HYSA) at a typical U.S. bank. It also carries risks related to the USDT issuer, platform custody, and the yield product itself.

Applying for the U Card and additional rewards

Applying for the MEXC U Card is simpler than applying for a traditional credit card: no credit history, credit score, or proof of income is required. Users in eligible regions can apply for a virtual card after completing advanced KYC verification. You generally need to submit a valid ID, complete facial verification, and provide proof of address as required for your region of residence.

The Global Card is currently unavailable to residents of certain regions, including the United States, mainland China, and India. Eligibility is determined mainly by your actual country or region of residence and proof of address; passport nationality alone does not determine whether you can apply.

Overall, I think the MEXC U Card is a good fit for users who already use USDT and are eligible to apply in their region. The standard tier offers 4% nominal cashback, which remains somewhat appealing after the standard spending fee; higher membership tiers offer more cashback, and the card also comes with a separate USDT yield feature.

Other features and fees

In addition to U.S. stocks and the U Card, MEXC offers a wide range of spot and futures trading options and promotions.

Spot and futures trading

MEXC supports a large number of cryptocurrency spot trading pairs and frequently runs zero-fee promotions on selected pairs. Some users may also qualify for additional fee discounts through their membership tier, holding MX, or participating in promotions.

Futures trading involves Maker and Taker fees as well as funding rates. Fees may vary by trading pair, membership tier, and promotion, so check the fees shown in your account before placing an order. When trading with leverage in particular, trading fees are often not the biggest risk; position management and liquidation matter more.

MEXC Earn and other promotions

MEXC also offers cryptocurrency yield products, airdrops, new-user tasks, trading competitions, and other promotions. Some can be completed with simple registration and trading tasks, while others require higher trading volumes or holding specified assets.

I recommend prioritizing tasks with clear requirements that you would complete anyway. Some promotions pay out futures bonuses, fee deduction coupons, or rewards restricted to specific uses; these are not the same as cash you can withdraw directly. When you see a very high annualized yield or a large rewards pool, make sure you understand how much you can actually receive and whether you would need to take on additional risk.

My take

I think MEXC’s competitive edge now extends beyond cryptocurrency spot and futures trading: it also offers RealStocks and the U Card. For users who already hold USDT on an exchange, being able to trade cryptocurrency, invest in U.S. stocks, and make everyday purchases through one platform can make managing funds more convenient.

In the long run, I think MEXC is mainly suited to the following groups:

  • People who already use USDT: Those who want to use digital assets to buy U.S. stocks and make purchases without frequently transferring funds to a bank and exchanging currencies.
  • People who want to try investing small amounts in real U.S. stocks: Those who value a simple application process, convenient USDT deposits, and up to 20.5U in trading rewards for new users.
  • People who need a U Card for everyday spending: Those who can use a Visa card for purchases and earn USDT cashback on eligible transactions.
  • People who trade both cryptocurrency and U.S. stocks: Those who want to reduce transfers between platforms and manage different assets in one app.

We have also covered Bitget on our site before. It also supports cryptocurrency and U.S. stock-related services. If you are interested in these products, compare them based on your region of residence, trading habits, and needs.

Sign-Up Link

The current promotion offers new users a U.S. stock reward of up to 20.5U. Eligible users can find the corresponding promotion in the “Benefits Center” of the MEXC App and claim the reward after completing the U.S. stock account opening, first trade, and cumulative trading tasks.
