As 2024 comes to an end, Marriott is continuing its soft landing policy from the past few years for 2025 elite status. If you qualified for your current status tier or a higher tier, your status will be extended through February 2026. If you qualified for a lower tier than your current one, your status will drop by at most one tier, also through February 2026. For example, if you have Titanium Elite status this year but did not stay even one night, you would only drop one level to Platinum.
