Starting last year (2017), Marriott launched social media promotions where you can earn points by interacting with Marriott on social media. The current annual cap is 45,000 points, which is quite generous. Earlier today, Marriott and the NFL teamed up to launch a Twitter promotion called Extra Points Sundays: simply send a tweet and earn 1,000 Marriott Rewards points, which is a pretty good deal. We value that at about $9. These promotions are released on Sundays, so we suggest setting a reminder and checking each Sunday to see whether the promotion has returned.
This promotion had originally ended, but over Super Bowl weekend Marriott announced on Twitter that it is back again. This time there are three questions total, and each correct answer earns 500 Marriott points, for a total of 1,500 points.

The promotion was posted in these tweets:

How do you get the points?

First, you need to link your Twitter account with your Marriott account. If you have not done that yet, you can read this article. After linking, just send a tweet (you can click one-click answer 1, one-click answer 2, one-click answer 3):

@MarriottRewards #RewardsPoints 1951

Each tweet earns 500 Marriott points.
You may want to keep an eye on @MarriottRewards on Twitter, since they often give away free points. Sending a tweet only takes a moment, so we recommend everyone take part.
See you next week!
