According to loyaltylobby, Marriott will run a points sale from May 18 to June 30 with a bonus of up to 60% (previously capped at 50%). That works out to a cost of 0.78 cpp. Personally, I think Marriott points are more valuable than the current gift cards at 20% off, especially since they inherited SPG’s useful feature of transferring to a large number of airline partners.
