Today, HSBC sent an email to many Premier Mastercard and Premier World Elite credit cardholders announcing the following:

Before June 30:

  • The Uber credit on both cards can also be used on Uber Eats (the $20 amount and 20% cap per use have not been removed);
  • Purchases at grocery stores can earn 3x points on the World Elite Mastercard version, or 2x points on the Mastercard version.

These benefits are only available for a limited time. The grocery-store offer is fairly mediocre compared with Chase, so be sure to do the math on how best to use it.
