DoC reports that Marriott credit cards issued by Chase and AMEX, excluding business cards, are temporarily earning 6x Marriott Bonvoy points at grocery stores.
Terms and restrictions
- From May 1 through July 1, grocery store purchases, excluding Target and Walmart, will earn a total of 6x points
- Eligible cards include all personal Marriott credit cards issued by Chase and AMEX, including the Chase Ritz-Carlton card
- The cap is $5,000 per card for Chase, and $7,500 per card for AMEX
We suggest using cards like the Chase Freedom or AMEX Gold first if you have them. If you run out of better cards to use, then consider earning 6x Marriott points instead.
If you're not sure what to buy, you can pick up gift cards for other merchants at grocery stores, such as Amazon, and then use them for purchases on Amazon.
