AMEX Bonvoy Brilliant

Official terms】Some users dug up the official terms on the website, and these perks should be confirmed.

The biggest highlight is that Platinum status is being handed out directly. The free night award appears to have increased from the original 50,000 to 85,000 (this part is still uncertain—the terms still show 50,000, but the leak says 85,000). The elite night credits increased to 25. The previous Marriott hotel reimbursement has been replaced by a $300 dining credit. According to the official terms, there is also a new $100 Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis credit after your stay, which requires a minimum two-night stay and direct booking, similar to FHR. There are also multiple new reward options after $60,000 in spending.

The annual fee is still unknown. I think a $100 increase is possible.

Choice Award

Effective January 23, 2023!

After spending $60,000, you can choose one of the three benefits below. The free night award is usually used together with a paid stay. It looks like the 85,000-point free night award is still the best value.

  • Five Suite Night Awards™
  • Mattress and Box Spring $750 Discount from Marriott Retail Brands
  • Free Night Award with a redemption value up to 85,000 points

AMEX Bonvoy Bevy and Chase Bonvoy Bountiful

Not much has changed. They mainly renamed the card and added 1,000 bonus points for each stay. Then, $50,000 in spending gets you a 50,000-point free night award. At this rate, the annual fee probably won't change.

The old AMEX mid-tier card Marriott Bonvoy was converted from the SPG card and is no longer available for applications. It is expected to be replaced by this card. Chase's Marriott card is now called Boundless and may become Bountiful.

The original Chase card benefits are below

Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Marriott Credit Card

Comes with 1 free night certificate every year; a standout card

  • Welcome bonus: 4 Marriott free night awards at the 50,000-point tier (spend $3,000 in the first 3 months) + $100 airline credit
  • Rewards: 6x at Marriott hotels; 3x on gas, groceries, and dining; 2x on all other purchases
  • Redemption: Can be redeemed at Marriott/Ritz-Carlton properties, or transferred to airline miles at up to a 3:1.25 ratio
  • Annual fee: $95

Chase Ritz-Carlton Card

It still only offers Gold status, but it adds a $100 Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis credit benefit (the same one introduced above for Brilliant), and the free night award has increased to 85,000 points (originally 50,000). I think it's not as good as the Brilliant card's Platinum status.

If the free night award is still 50,000, then the annual fee definitely won't go up.

It looks pretty credible.
