Citi is finally coming after Citi Dividend cardholders! Some people have already received letters from Citi saying that in March, their Citi Dividend will be converted to the now-ubiquitous Citi Double Cash card.

Terms

  • The Citi Dividend card will automatically be converted to the Citi Double Cash credit card on March 31, 2016.
  • After the conversion, the old 5% bonus categories will be eliminated.
  • If you do not want the conversion, you must call 855-473-4583 by March 30, 2016 to opt out.

What Should I Do?

For most people, Citi Double Cash is a good card, but it is also very easy to get. Since Citi Dividend is one of Citi's quarterly 5% cash back cards, I think keeping Citi Dividend is a bit more valuable, especially because you can get Double Cash anytime you want.
