Combined with the earlier AA, UA, AS, and DL matches, this now covers nearly the full set of major U.S. airlines.

JetBlue has launched another status match promotion! It has been nearly a year since the last match offer aimed at dissatisfied Delta SkyMiles members. This time, you can match from AA, Delta, UA, and Alaska to Mosaic Levels 1 and 2, and complete specific tasks to reach Mosaic 3.

Mosaic 1 already comes with quite a few perks.

How to Match

Steps

You need to have elite status with Alaska, AA, Delta, or UA. Depending on your status, you can match to Mosaic 1 or 2. The match chart is below.

Filling out the application only takes a few minutes. First, though, you need to join the TrueBlue program if you haven’t already, and have the following screenshots ready:

  • For Mosaic 1 and 2 matches: a screenshot of your elite status profile showing your full name and proof of identity.
  • For Mosaic 2 matches only: a screenshot or photo of a recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email to verify your identity.

Once you have everything ready, open JetBlue’s status match application and follow the steps. The application is very straightforward, and it’s free!

JetBlue’s status match terms and conditions say that processing can take up to 4 weeks. Hopefully the real turnaround won’t be that long.

Requalifying and Earning Mosaic 3

After a successful match, your Mosaic status is valid for 3 months. During those 3 months, you can earn tiles to extend your status or upgrade to Mosaic 3. If you’re not familiar with tiles, here’s how you earn them:

  • Earn 1 tile for every $100 spent on JetBlue flights, including fees and add-ons, as well as JetBlue Vacations and Paisly bookings.
  • Earn 1 tile for every $1,000 spent on JetBlue credit cards, including the JetBlue Card, JetBlue Plus Card, and JetBlue Business Card.

To extend your status or reach Mosaic 3, you need to earn the following number of tiles within 3 months after the match is approved:

  • Mosaic 1: 10 tiles.
  • Mosaic 2: 25 tiles.
  • Mosaic 3: 40 tiles.

With the right strategy, you should be able to extend your status pretty easily.

JetBlue Mosaic Benefits

Over the past few years, JetBlue’s TrueBlue program has gone through a lot of changes. Under the current setup, you can earn tiles through flying, credit card spending, direct purchases, and more, and those tiles are used to determine the four Mosaic elite tiers.

Mosaic 2 benefits: As a Mosaic 2 member, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of Mosaic 1, plus the ability to choose Even More Space seats and Mint Suite priority when booking. The benefits for Mosaic 3 and above are shown below. Honestly, 3 doesn’t bring much of an obvious upgrade, but Mosaic 4 does still have two important perks: gift and Blade transfer.
