According to frequentmiler, if you are not a cardmember but are an IHG Platinum or Diamond member, you can also join this 20% off Reward Nights offer starting Jan. 13, 2023. The booking deadline and eligible stay period are the same:
We’ve been informed by IHG that this promotion will extend to IHG Diamond and Platinum members starting 1/13/23, regardless of whether or not they are Chase IHG credit cardholders (although, I would imagine that most IHG Plats and Diamonds do have at least one of the credit cards) . The booking window for both Chase cardholders and IHG elites will end on 1/20/23.
IHG cardmembers currently have a solid deal: booking Reward Nights can get a 20% off discount. This promotion requires no registration—just search for Reward Nights and you’ll see the discount. You need to book by Jan. 20, 2023, and stay dates are Jan. 9, 2023 through Mar. 10, 2023, for up to three consecutive nights. If you have a Reward Night in this period, remember to cancel and rebook to use this discount. Unfortunately, the offer cannot be combined with the IHG cardmember “Fourth Reward Night Free” benefit.
